I really like pepper and hot foods but....

Jalepenos aren't even that hot.

I'm more amazed at the number he ate.

I know they aren't that hot, but in that volume it would just have to wreck havoc. Hell, the amount of vitamin A they consumed alone is approaching a toxic level.

I can't even fathom how painful those peppers are going to be going out the other end.

Everyone thinks hot in is hot out but it's really not true.

It's usually the vinegar laced stuff that gets me. Like the "hot" hot wing sauces that make your eyes water the vinegar smell is so overwhelming. That vinegar just seems to stick with you the *whole* way.

Still though, I just can't envision any good coming from that many jalapenos 😱

Hot in, hot out has always been my experience.

Ditto. Maybe broon isn't actually eating foods we would consider hot.

Go eat a fresh picked (not cooked) jalapeno with all the seeds and tell me it?s not that hot.

Not all jalapenos are created equal. I have some in my fridge right now that aren't much spicier than a green pepper.

I grew some on my own last year that were on par with a habanero in heat. They were in constant sunlight the entire day and the heat they produced was pretty crazy. They left my hands on fire when I was cutting them for salsa. Crazy hot for a jalapeno.

Agreed.

Then again, maybe we should ask brian peppers about all of this and get his opinion eh?

Jalapenos are not too hot(though they can vary in hotness), but hot peppers usually build in hotness as you eat more. After 100 or so I think they'd be getting pretty potent. 😀

not a real jalapeno if was anywhere near a real habanero

For a quick beer snack, or anytime snack, slice fresh jalapenos in half. Discard the seeds and ribs. Fill with cream cheese and serve, yummy. This was the quick one.

Other recipes add grated sharp cheddar cheese, then wrap in bacon and cook in the oven. The first recipe is fast and easy.

that CAN'T be good for his stomach and intestines. man, I just have to eat a hint of hot stuff, and the next day = flamin' arse.
