Ummmmm......yeah.

I was into Dungeons & Dragons when I was 10-12 (way back in the very early 80's) but was of the mind that
it was played in the imagination and on paper. I NEVER thought of acting as STUPID as these people are.
Especially since they seem a LOT older than 10-12.

My biggest fear is that they WILL GET LAID and then propagate this kind of crap through their kids!!!

The first "lightning bolt" the guy throws hits one of his teammates! haha
There was a medieval "reenactment" club at my college. The concept sounded cool, so I wandered by their first meeting and then never returned.
My mom asked me if I was going to join and when I said no, she asked why.
"Picture a bunch of nerdy kids wearing home-made "armor" and garbage cans on their heads and hitting each other with padded sticks. In public."

She said "OH."

They threw a renaissance festival once on campus, which I wandered out to on a rainy day since it was right in front of my dorm.
There were a couple guys there who were accomplished at fencing and they put on a pretty cool display.
The rest of them? I'm ashamed to be a nerd.
