i really don't understand the problem with reposts

Seriously though, if you create a climate where reposts are frowned upon, people will put in at least a small amount of effort before posting. Otherwise, people are lazy fucks, and we'd have 6 posts on the front page of some simple bitch that killed herself with a jackhammer.

yeah, the repost nazis can be dickish, but necessary. reposts clog bandwidth and dilute content. so some level of deterrence must be in place.

Meh, I only have a problem with them if the repost was recent. It is a pain to have to carry on parallel debates on the exact same thing. There should be a statute of limitations for repost material, and above all, a decent search function.

i would think that anyone hanging around to nef can afford the 15 seconds of their life lost to reading something they may have already read
