It's bad enough we have to put up with openly homosexual threads and themes but now we must deal with militant-homo's who claim that Christian and heterosexual people molest their own children? :|

Sooner or later Anandtech is gonna have to take a stand. It is one thing to be a gay-friendly website and another thing entirely to be a gay website. I doubt I am the only one thinking this.

If this merits a ban I will take it in the name of heterosexual Christians. Thanks for letting me put my 2 cents in.
 
When you are in business, you soon learn that you cannot please all the people all the time.

You do have to stand for something....doing nothing will just cause people to drift away.
 
From what I remember, Doboji is a Christian guy that often takes the stance of defending circumcision. Unless I'm mistaking him for someone else he's a straight circumcized Christian, and I doubt he would truely try to offend his own type.
 
So many people playing games. It's getting too hard to know who is for real and who is just being an asshole.

On a board this big and busy it's impossible to keep tabs. 🙁

That thread was funny as hell and quite obviously satirical. Do you take theonion.com seriously as well?

Edit: Btw even if you don't know Doboji, there's a pic of him and his fiance linked right in his sig, it's not hard to figure out. Why am I reminded of that root beer commercial where the guy on a job interview keeps calling the firm "Dumbass & Dumbass", and at the end the interviewer tells him, "The name is DUMAS!"? :laugh:
 
Homosexuality is natural, get over it. If you can't, you might as well slit your wrists right now. It's out there, you'll have to deal with it.

If you want to fight for something worth while, fight against parents out there that allow their male children to be mutilated in the name of idiocy. Help the people trying to get legislation through to protect children and ban circumcision.
Or try to stop the bigotry against people. All people, not just Christian people. Non-Christians count too you know. 🙂
Or fight against stupid companies promoting murder and destruction, in the name of Christ.

There are plenty of important things to worry about, a stupid parody thread from a moron that may have been mutilated (circumcized) and brainwashed into believing it's ok or that homosexuality is somehow wrong is not one of them.

considering the people who have been around the forums over the years (denni anyone?) it's hard to tell who is being satirical and who isn't anymore. you wouldn't know that, because you haven't been around. theonion.com is KNOWN for being satire, anandtech isn't. i realize most of the new people don't understand this is a computer hardware/software forum and not "let's make an ass out of myself in atot". oh well, what can you do.

It's not bad at all in any way that we "have to put up with" openly homosexual threads. And sometimes Christian and heterosexual people do molest their own kids, unfortunately. But that has nothing to do with their religion or sexual orientation.
