I put ddrtw on my Linksys wrt3000n but need help

I can access the web interface, change settings ect. I need to know how I need to set it up for what I want to do. I would like to place it in another part of my house to act like a repeater. I tried selecting repeater but it didnt seem to work with the laptop I was testing it with
