I know Keanu Reeves is loved throughout the world (despite what the media portrays). But why is it that other countries can't set aside a day to thank him. Let me go down the list here.
Japan was set free from a tyrannical government mostly in part to Keanu Reeves winning WW2 (whoa!). They have a great economy and a great society now in thanks to the Keanu of Reeves. How about a holiday?
South Korea, again, would it be too much to thank Keanu Reeves for defending your flourishing capitalist society?
Germany, he took out that whack job Hitler and helped you turn into a great industrial country. You owe him.
France/England, would one day be too much to ask?
Iraq, I know it seems like he's the bad guy. But it's like how you got mad when your Dad made you study instead of smoking dope and partying, you'll thank him later.
And the rest of the world, he may not have saved your butts directly, but it's pretty comforting knowing the KR will selflessly help you if you're ever in trouble.
Here is how I want this holiday setup. It takes place on the 2nd of September. Fireworks throughout the world. Beer, cookouts, what a perfect global holiday! This would help bring the world closer together while giving Keanu Reeves the respect he deserve.
It's not a worship Keanu Reeves day, rather, it's a day to recognize the sacrifices Keanu Reeves has made on the worlds behalf and have a good time doing it too.
