Dayum they are ugly

That song is awful

The site is slow

I have no idea how that is #1, its not even the type of song that gets stuck in your head.

Ladies and Gentlemen may i present British Marketing at it's very best/worst. I remember well when the cheeky girls appeared for an audition on our UK Pop Stars. Possessing a lovely pair of arses but no talent whatsoever they were kindly and politely told to f*ck off and never sing again in public. But as they were twins some marketing guy thought "Hmm, the pop-listening public are ignorant, stupid creatures, maybe if we take these girls and release a song we'll make a quick and cool £3m"...

And so the cheeky girls were born... Possessing a ridiculous transylvanian accent and less talent than a tibetan sheep herder they were nevertheless bought by every slack-jawed idiot within earshot, and proceeded to shoot to No.1 with the risible "We are the cheeky Girls".

They were apparently seen 3 months later selling themselves below London Bridge, £50 each or £200 for some twin action... (this last bit of information may be inaccurate so don't quote me on it, heh). 😀

BTW- the song was No.1 AGES ago, and lasted for about 1 week. Every now and then we get a song like this from some dreadful European country, it's part and parcel of Pop and is a tradition to be cherished for the sheer entertainment and comedy value it possesses.

Yeah, remember the Spice Girls? Or, let's go back a decade or two, how about Bros? Which dreadful European country did they come from? 😉

ok, they are not brittish they are transilvanien (sp?)

they were of popstars (forerunner to pop idol, which is forerunner to american idol) and they were so bad they made the country laugh

the whole song is not serious, it's a joke, they are not number 1, they have been but you can see the uk top 40 here

They are cack. But the difference is that they wrote their own songs with their mother = £££ and no royalties to pay. They make a lot of money on their songs. No crap to pay to others.

The make money selling some iffy music. I'm sure any of you would also if given the chance. I'd stand and mime if I was given enough £££. Only the most hardened musician wouldn't do that and I'm definately not one of them!

Yeah their music is very...very annoying....but it certainly isn't no.1 at the moment...Elton John is.

I saw them live in a club in north london, they did suck but contrary to what everyone dribbles about here, they weren't bad looking at all.

Umm right, and who has produced the best bands the world has ever seen too e.g. Oasis, Coldplay, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Flloyd (list goes on and on) etc etc. Our Pop music may indeed be terrible, but our Indie/Rock is the best in the world bar none in my humble opinion. 😀
