my best friend's had one since the 8th grade... he doesn't play it as much anymore because it's so heavy and is causing pain in his upper back and neck.

I've got a custom 22... more comfortable scale wise for me, the 24 sounds weird in some spots to me.

great guitar though

Yeah, I played with a Gretsch Nashville last week and also fell in love. MAN that thing is smooth. The wife would kill me though, plus I'm trying to sneak in a Marshall stack sometime in the future because my Les Paul is lonely :)

I'm going to get one :)

meh..

i've played alot of guitars. some that costs $5,000 plus.

nothing tops a custom carvin, which can usually be had for a 1/3 of what people pay for PRS. Not saying I wouldn't sex a PRS if someone gave me one, but unless I was stupid rich, any expensive guitar purchase I have will never be anything other than a Carvin.

Check out the Carvin Californa Carved Top. Now that thing is sex.

Only complaints people give is for the sound/pickups. If you don't like the pickups, send the ones you want to Carvin and they will use them.

Guitars are like jeans- you have to go with whoever fits you best. I have a buddy that can't play my Gibsons because he has tiny girl fingers and can't get them around the neck. My hands look like bunches of bananas and the tapered 59' necks I use work well.

I might stick with the Custom 22 though because I'm not a big trem user...

I couldn't get enough of that PRS through the Mesa Dual Rec :)

a match made in heaven :D

try a carvin! you could get 3 of them for the price of the PRS, so it would be more like a muslim match made in heaven (more than once virgin) lol
