I plan to purchase Ipod Shuffle..little question..

Do i absolutly need to install ipod Itunes to fill my shuffle or i can plug it to my usb drive directly and fill it from there?

If not...can i take my already existant audio library( F>My shared Folder is there my songs are) and put them in ipod itunes??

Not sure if you need iTunes in order to sync, I don't think its absolutely necessary, but don't know for sure.

When you install iTunes it will ask if you want it to scan for music already on your computer. It will automatically catalog it and everything for you as well.
 
hah...the shuffle, I always think they look like tampons for some reason...
If u want to drag and drop stuff like a removable harddrive, take a look at the iRiver mp3's.
