Is it flat screen? The extended warranty looks kind of expensive, and I wonder who refurbished it. Maybe the best thing to do is buy with a good credit card that offers the extended warranty.

You got a pretty good deal - one drawback is that the monitor you got doesn't have a flat tube and is probably pretty old.

EDIT: Was it $600 shipped?

That's not correct, as far as I'm aware. This monitor doesn't have a flat tube, whereas the FW900 does.

That's not correct, as far as I'm aware. This monitor doesn't have a flat tube, whereas the FW900 does.

I know of a person selling a used 24" Sony Monitor, GDM-FW900 in the Seattle area. 1 grand is still a bit steep for my monitor budget, but email me if you're interested in getting their details.
