looks good. but get a ANTEC TRUEPOWER 380 powersupply instead. :)

and looking at the performance of a Radeon 9500pro depending on how much it cost when its out u might want to go for a Geforce 4 ti 4400.

Truepower is the performance line. Better quality parts and better construction. Or try Enermax

Heh, the TruePower Antec has a higher quality by a longshot! I am abit skeptical on the quality of $100 Giga-Byte Mobo, not saything that it isnt good, and the PC3200 doesn't have that much of a speed increase over 2700.

I had bad luck with my 550W Truepower PSU. So I would go with Enermax.

Linked is messed up!!! can't have http:// twice...Here is a fixed link...

Power Supply

Edit: And yes I like the power supply, but I also like the 400watt one....

My 350 antec true power is doinf just fine on my system...I actually think I will need the 400 to take me into the future of granite bay and 3ghz processors!!! IMO get the 400 and you'll be set for awhile...

Nice choice for ram. Samsung makes the best ram and runs extremely stable in overclocked systems :)

I would personally go with a mobo based on the PE chipset, but the Abit SR7-8X sucks ass at overclocking.

If youre running stock, it'll do fine. But don't expect to hit any FSB over 140.

How soon to you want to buy??? The Granite Bay duall ddr mobos are to be coming out in about 3 weeks and they will put these current ddr boards to shame....

Also I guess there is an Asus model that will have 8x agp, firewire ports, and Serial ATA.....

I never did finally hear anything good about the sis648 mobos...still heard a rash of issues with them not actually being able to run a lot of 400mhz ddr modules....Is that fixed??? Did the reviews get better?? I alos heard a rash of Abit mobos that were DOA, but that was very early on....

well i really wanted to buy tomorrow...but now i dont have a mobo

can someone help me find a replacement that is equivalent or slightly better than the one i picked out?

Those new ones comming out in 3 weeks.....how much will they cost, i dont want to spend much more than i priced above...thats the only reason i wouldnt get them

this computer is only going to really do me for a year, so i dont need top of the line everything...i need a new notebook for college next year anyway

so a good mobo is what i need right now i guess.... i also need to find a deal on a cdrw

Well the new GB dual ddr mobos will likely be in the 140-180 range with that asus mobo be top end....

Are you getting the sis mobo cause you want to:

a) Get all the features it offers?? Does it have firewire by the way cause I thought some of the sis648 mobos had it....

b) don't plan on ocing but would like to run ddr at 400mhz...

If yes to both then buy it.....

Otherwise look at the albatron or Epox 4g4a mobo, both can be had around 100 bucks...You wont get a better oc out of it compared to the intel chipsets.
