I park by myself for a REASON (asshat parks in "my spot" at work :|) w/ diagram!

RANT:
I get to work this morning and low and behold this asshat parks in "my spot"! I park in the part of the garage where there are NO other cars within 15 spaces of where I park. I chose the spot because I hate door dings, plus I'm "protected" by a column and a wall.

So last week this other car decides to park near me, which is fine just as long as he doesn't park right next to me. He parked there last week, no big deal.

HOWEVER this morning he decides to park in the spot where I've been parking the last month :|:|:| He basically parked in such a way to take up ALL 4 spaces! Yes, where I normally park I take up 2 space, but being that that part of the lot is empty I don't think it's a big deal.

Yes, I realize it's not "my spot" but if you've been parking there for a month, AND the guy knows you usually park there I think it's an asshat move for him to park there.

Whine, whine, whine. Like you said, it's not your spot. And you're both asshats for taking up multiple parking spots. No one is that impressed by your car.
 
How is it your parking spot? Is it reserved personally for you? If its not, then its open game. Obviously he caugh on to what you were doing and decided it was a good idea. 😉 Show up to work earlier.

Oh, and BTW....did you take up 4 spots like he did when you parked? You said you were protected by a pillar and a wall, and I see that only happening if you parked like he did.

like I said, I know it's not my spot. but seeing how I parked there for a month and he knows I park there daily since he parked near me for a week you'd think he wouldn't do it.

I took up 2 spots yes, but like I said (for the people that say I'm an asshat for taking up more than 1 spot that side of the garage is virtually EMPTY, the nearest car from that location is about 15 spots away

hey, some people care about their cars. my reason for parking by myself is because I don't want anybody to hit something I spent so much money on. If that makes me a whiny baby then give me my pacifier

Get there earlier than him and take up 6 spots so that he can't park near you. 😛

Agreed.

By your own admission, the parking lot is quite vacant and at best sparsely populated. Park somewhere else, or (if your position warrants such) inquire into making the space officially reserved.

Hell, I'd park there just to get your panties in such a bunch. hehe, guess it worked.

We have folks like that in our lot. we all just love to park in "their spot" just to see them crack and pissed off over a freakin parking spot.

If its so empty, what the h3ll are you protecting your car from? Phantom door dings?

You need to get some REAL problems, I think life is boring you if this is whats creasing your butt.
 
Maybe the guy saw your little trick and thought it was a good idea. If you care so much, you'll have to get up earlier and beat him to the spot, but unless you drive some outrageous exotic, I think you're making a mountain out of a molehill. We all spent lots of money on our cars. You're no better than the rest of us.
