I-Panel and Asus P4B266-C

I just got myself an Asus I-Panel to go with my Asus P4B266-C.
I have setup the "update timer" in the bios at 8 seconds.
Now the IPANEL refresh every 8 seconds but my computer makes a hick-up(mouse or application freeze for a quater of second.) every 8 seconds also.

Anybody know how to resolve this ?
