Well I paid off my car. They sent my paperwork to the wrong address. After a few months I got my paperwork and I noticed that I have the wrong title. The title is for a different car actually.

Anyway anytime i try to call them i talked to some foreign call center. Its annoying. Has anyone experienced this.

Sad thing is i was going to sell my car and now i cant.

Sheesh

If they sent you the title for a sweet car, I'd just keep it ;)

FTW

1. Pay off your 8 year old used honda civic.
2. Get the title to a Mercedes SL600.
3. Track down and re-posess said Mercedes.
4. PROFIT !

Doesn't the DMV issue the title and not the bank? Not necessarily the bank's fault if the name is right, but the car is wrong. :)

Still doesn't excuse them for not sending it to the right place...unless of course the OP didn't change his address with the bank. :D

? im thinking he probably did

?and I'm thinking that's probably how he noticed that it was the wrong one.

ah...my bad. i misread it originally, thinking it said he had gotten the title a few months ago and just noticed it was wrong.

IIRC the bank holds the title until it is paid off.
