Bought some CDs from Barnes and Noble on 9/19 in which the item says that it usually ships within 2-3 days. It goes out on Monday, 9/23 (I get the email that it has shipped with the UPS tracking number) and I'm supposed to get it today, 9/25 right? Thats what it says on the UPS website, that scheduled delivery is 9/25. I paid for two day shipping and I didn't get it within two days. Is it worth calling them up and bitching to them? Maybe I'll get a gift cert or something.

Whats teeing me is that I paid for two day because I needed it soon. Freakin A...

I had this happen with a catalog I used to order from, a couple of times. Call them up, and the least they should do is refund the difference between 2 day and regular ground shipping.

If its a business, especially like Barnes & Noble, you should give it a go. What have you got to lose?

One time though I overnighted something to my uncle from Malibu to San Jose. Not like coast to coast. It took 3 days to get there. I called the post office and told them it was crap that I spent 15 dollars to ship it overnight and I could have spent like 75 cents to get it there in 3 days. Needless to say the woman didn't care at all.

Give them a call and see if they'll refund shipping completely or at the very least give you the difference between 2 day and ground. Most people would be suprised what they could get if they dont act like jackasses. (Not aimed at anyone here...)

I ordered something from dell S&P and got the overnight shipping. My item came almost a week later and it had been shipped out the very next day after I ordered it. UPS can SUCK IT!!!

If you sent it through USPS express mail and it wasn't delivered on time, even just one minute late, you could have got all your money back. Just take the express mail form to any post office and they'll refund you on the spot.

I placed an order at digikey with fedex second day delivery. It arrived in NY twice, shipping out both times. Of course it wasn't here on time. Arrived a 3rd time in NY on day 3 and somehow made its way on a truck for delivery. I got my shipping refunded.

Just make sure y'all know the difference between express and priority. Express is guaranteed overnight. Priority (2-3day) is just a "guideline" and they make no guarantee it. Of course, Priority mail is usually w/in $1.00 of 1st Class so it's not a big difference. Express is big $$$ in comparison.
