I've noticed that myself. SpeedFan works much better, though, because you can set a lower limit (say, 50%), and no matter how low your temps go, your fan will never turn slower than that. Then when temps go up, fan speed goes up, like with Smart Fan.

Yeah but ive seen Q6600 which were as low as 179.99

mmmmm... kinda hard to say which is a better value. :T
