with NO FAN! Does such a beast exist??? I do not need the performance, but do need the QUIET. I currently have a ATI with one DVI and one VGA plug, which I may have to use, but I like things the same if you know what I mean 🙂))

I'm sure there's a passive 6600GT with dual dvi. For that matter, there's also a passive 7800GT from Asus that for sure has dual dvi.

Look at the post above you. Also, why not just use two cheap video cards with dvi on that SLi motherboard.

If you need to save cash but still need two DVI jacks, why not spend $35 and get a pair of these?
 
I use a Ti4200 with VGA and DVI outputs. I have two DVI 19-inch LCD monitors. So one monitor is running in Analog mode and the other in DVI mode.

I'm VERY picky about video, and, frankly, I can't tell the difference between the images. Both are running at 1280x1024 native resolution. I can't even remember which one is running in DVI mode.

If you are happy with your current video card, I'd recommend saving your money.
 
Thank you all for your excellent suggestions. Yes, I did realize that I needed PCI-E later last night 🙂 I wil look at all the cards you guys suggeste. I will try the one I have first and see if I can do the one DVI one VGA thing. Cost... $0.00.

OK, I setup the monitors. One DVI, one VGA. So far, so good. Definitely takes some gettings used to. Still, that $400 card with the passive heatsink was pretty darn sweet. Is that a siren song I hear????????
