I only have access to port 80 :(

I only have access to port 80. Which means I can (non-secure) websites just fine. I setup a http proxy and now I can access just about everything using my browser.
But for some reason, I can't get my aol AIM working. I put in the same proxy server but I can't connect. Is there a connection wide setting where I can tunnel my entire connection through a remote server? This proxy-per-application isn't working correctly for me. Or is there any other alternative?

If you did this at work, ask your administrator for help. Personally, I'd change the settings on my firewall to give myself better access.

This isn't work. This is using my cell phone as a modem for my laptop. They only allow port 80 (and maybe port 25 and 110) access.
