I just built a new computer
Gigabyte P35 DS3R
2 GB Hyper x Ram
Intel Duo E4400
Antec Earthwatts 500w EA500
SATA 500GB hard drive
Everything was working perfectly until I installed an IDE hard drive. As I booted up, I noticed a fan was blocking the processor heatsink fan, so I pulled the plug.
When I tried to boot up again it gives me power for 1 second bursts (all the fans start to run) every 4-5 seconds.
I think the power supply may have blown a fuse. Any ideas are more than welcome.
