I/O resource problem

I have a MSI Neo2 Plat without a midi port, so I added a Chaintech Av512 sound card. The audio works, but not the midi port, since it requires I/O range 0201-0201, and I can't get that resource freed up through WinXP SP2. In Hardware Manager, the option is not even allowed to change resources for this sound card. Does anyone have any idea what to do?
