They pulled the ole trick of saying my rebate arrived to late-LIARS!!!!
Contacted Circuit City and they basicly told me "too bad so sad"
I now preach at every opportunity I get to NOT buy from Circuit City or I/O Magic.

that sounds like the two day sale they had during christmas 2000
I was late mailing it in , so I returned the IOmagic CDROM to CC.
gotta watch those dates, best buy is cool though , mailed one in late with a sorry note on it and got my rebate anyway,

in before the lock!

in just before the lock....

i gotta say from my experience, BEWARE of I/O Magic products altogether... i bought a 52x CD-Rom with some sort of rebate (came out to like 20 something bux). and i tell ya, that's a piece of crap of a cdrom. can barely read actual copies of stuff i buy from the store let alone stuff i burn.

Just go back to circuit city and tell them they have to refund you the rebate money or return the product, and show them proof that you didn't get paid from I/O. By the way I/O pulled one on my brother.

I suggest calling them immediately after the 10 weeks or whatever period CC said the rebates will take, and try to get a live person instead of their voice mail. Thats what I've got to do for my rebate. Someone actually kind enough to call me back after the repeated calls and messages. Got the rebate 3 weeks after that.
