Thanks for the reply. Yes I was dual booting with Windows XP. I made a 5gig partition for the Linux. And Partition Magic Pro 8 was my friend. Maybe if I get the new wireless pcmcia card, I will be a little happier.

BTW: My lady has been pissed because when she turns on the laptop, the default os is Linux. Is there a way to change it to Windows xp? Also, I noticed the name for Windows XP is labeled as dos. Is there a way to change that too? Grub is the boot loader.
