I wanted the Canon SD600 that was advertised for $199. I got there a little earlier before the store opens. Saw about 200 people waiting already, and I went to get in line. Store opens and 30 minutes later I maybe moved a feet or two closer. Line was moving nowhere so I decided to go to BB.

I eventually came back, waited in line again and got in. I saw the camera, asked a guy and was told to wait in line to have someone get it from behind the glass shelves. What pissed me off was that only one person(the media manager) was getting the cameras while there are 20 customers there. The other workers weren't allowed to, so they all stood there like a bunch of useless idiots.

20 minutes later I was finally told the camera was sold out. Fvck! The least they could've done was put a sold out sticker.

Nothing 🙁. I wasn't mad about not getting the camera. I was pissed because the manager was an idiot and wouldn't delegate some simple responsibilities like opening a glass shelve.
 
Hah, right now you can get it from Dell for $202 w/free ground shipping, and never have to leave your comfy computer chair.

Or you can price-match it at Sears and get an additional 10% of the difference. That makes $194.99. That's what I did. :beer:
 
Yeah, they suck so much for making 200 people get in line in front of you, making you wait your turn, and making those people buy out all of their stock of the item you wanted! DAMN THEM! I'LL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!

I entirely agree.

I went to the camera area and it was complete chaos, and only one CC bastage doling out cameras from the glass case, and slowly at that since he was almost getting trampled. :frown: There must have been atleast 50 people trying to get a camera. It was completely ascenine, so I left.

Not before I got my Mio navigator for $150 AR tho, which was the primary reason I stood in line.
