I normally play MMO...

So...Ive been a long time MMO player, and have been thinking I'd like to dive into FSP. The one Im looking at is COD2; however, I know theres a ton out there. What would you FPS-ers recommend as a first one? Also, how do you normally play...i.e. keyboard, dpad controller, etc?

What type of FPS are you interested in? Are you looking for single player, multi-player? What FPS, if any, have you played and liked?

multi player would be cool. Thats one reason I like MMO's is the social aspect. Ive played Half Life and Far Cry before, and for the most part they were fun. Although a little monotonous after a few hours.

Left4Dead is a great beginner's FPS. Just like TF2 you can play with other people (if you don't like single player). The story isn't that great, but hey you shooting zombies. Everyone loves a good zombie shooter once in a while.
