Ok, so I'm out with my husband and we're hungry. There's a Wendy's close by so we decide to stop there. We only have a couple bucks, so we're looking at the 99 cent value menu. I wanted a hamburger, but my husband pointed out that the value menu had a bacon cheeseburger for 99 cents. I was like ok, but I really don't want bacon or cheese, I just want a hamburger. He said but the hamburger is 89 cents. I said ok, I'll go with the bacon cheeseburger. As we are rung up, it dawns on me that to save money both he and I choose the bacon cheeseburger when the hamburger actually cost less! Doh! We both got a good laugh out of it. And in our defense, we did not sleep well last night, so our brains haven't worked well all day.
