thsi is a no brainer IMO he helps just about everyone with webhosting packages and picture hosting, and is well deserveing of it
 
Definitely helpful. Not only will he be hosting the new ATGamers.com soon (hopefully, haven't discussed that in a while), he also found someone to design a skin for the forums, and is giving them a year of free hosting for doing so. This is all his doing, I have asked for none of it. He's doing it out of the kindness of his heart, I guess? 😀 😛

I enjoy helping people out and I'm just fine with being a golden member. 🙂 I appreciate the nomination but I don't think its necessary. There are tons of other people who can become elite before me.

How does giving out lots of free hosting and bandwidth qualify as advertising? Seems as if anyone who wants some hosting on these boards has to just ask him, and he gives them some for free. Doesn't look like he's getting any money from it.

How does giving out lots of free hosting and bandwidth qualify as advertising? Seems as if anyone who wants some hosting on these boards has to just ask him, and he gives them some for free. Doesn't look like he's getting any money from it.

thats what you think. granted he's given out some accounts for free, but others are paying. i had one guy PM me and stated he was a little nervous with going with someone he doesnt know or even has a website for. During my research, devious wanted to offer me a reseller account. I said no since he couldnt provide proof of existence and i wasn't about to give money to some guy running his own dedicated box.

My question to him - "i dont even know you and you dont even have a website." Granted it could be a box he's leasing and he wants to make money off the extra storage space, but nah, I'll take my business to a legitimate company.

His response - "So what??!?!!!!!"

But anyways, to each his own. I admit he's been very helpful and I can care less if someone was voted "Elite" It's just a freaking title. I was merely responding to someone else's comment, which I happen to agree upon.

Ok, I host quite a few ATers. The majority of them are hosted for free however I am unable to host reseller accounts for free as they are put on a different server.

Looking through my PM's I don't can't see any conversations with you. Nor do I remember offering you anything. I may be mistaken or maybe you have a different username that you PMed me with. 😕 If someone decides not to host with me I am just fine with that and can gladely recommend the user to a reputable company. Also, I don't ever recall saying something along the lines of "So what??!?!!!!!"

Again, I may be mistaken as I can't remember every PM conversation I've had on this forum.

PowerMac, if his server isn't good enough please don't waste your time on it, others that enjoy it are just fine

As for other people needing it too, I agree but the mods can only elite someone if we ask, without that they won't be given the elite status. If there's someone you want elited, just mention it.

You are talking as if I actually go into his server on a weekly basis or something. His server IS a waste of my time and I DON'T play on it.

I've made my point clear in this thread, your post did nothing to counter it..........
