I never understand why Halloween is so popular in America.

To me it's just a pointless event.

Also, over here it?s just an excuse for punk kids to go egging.

Any reason for women to dress up in the skimpiest and sexiest outfits imaginable is a good thing in my book.

Here it's an excuse to have a good party. If you don't enjoy it you're doing it wrong.

It's the one time that nobody looks at me strange as I sacrifice little children to Dagon. Everyone assumes that it's fake blood or fake kids...lol.

nothing like going door to door with a shot glass in hand, and saying "trick or treat" for free alcohol. :D

Any other questions??? ;)

Would you not associate trick or treating just a form of begging? I do. Alhough I guess it?s just more of a tradition over there (EDIT: Halloween that is).

Also, I agree with women dressing up, eye candy is better than actual candy ;). I am actually hitting the town tonight, so there should be a lot of dressed up hot women out tonight. :D

Have you ever been in america during halloween?

1. girls can wear the sluttiest outfits in public and get away with it. ( specially in winter)
2. horror Theme parties with lots and lots of candy
3. designing creative costumes to scare others
4. playing practical pranks, (everything april fool's day is and +1)
5. it gives hollywood a reason to make more horror movies on a regular basis.
6. it lets u design pumpkins with candles in it and lets you hang it wherever you want.
7. Drinking (sort of felt, this should get its own separate point)

Notice i listed 7 points as it is a magic number to some, ha a. anyways, with these and more, do u really need anymore reasons to celebrate.

Take any occupation and add the word "slutty" in front of it. Now put it in costume form.

Number 1 is always fine by me.

Number 7, well, for underage kiddies it's probably a bonus.

As for the rest, it still seems like something young kiddies get off on. For me it just means a better piss up on the town as all the college girls come out, however it doesn't mean that i'll be dressing up.

No, but I would most European socialist governmemts.

If you're looking for a serious answer, here in the States Halloween has both the party aspect for adults, but it's mostly a thing for kids to look forward to. I'm fortunate to live in an older inner city neighborhood, and in this respect it's the one night of the week I can expect my house NOT to be vandalized. It's more of a social thing really, neighboors walking with their kids house to house, and nothing to do with begging.

My 10yr niece has spent 3hours working on her costume and picking out fabrics with her mom so it looks just right. I'm sorry if it's lost meaning for everybody else, but if it gives kids something fun and active to do and a chance for neighboors to keep their front doors unlocked for one night of the year I can't see it as all bad.

It has it's perks yes. No doubt I will see plenty of those bunny woman tonight :D You can?t go wrong with young female 18/19 year old attention ?whores?, lol :p

But my point was, you guy's in America seem to really go all out on Halloween. You won't really see any Halloween decor here in the UK. Also the kids that like to go out trick or treating don't even dress up, i could understand if they did make an effort and dress up.

Halloween for me is fantastic, it surpasses Christmas for me. Love it, will always celebrate it. It's becoming more and more celebrated in America nowadays. I get at least 100 kids, usually more every year that come to my door, I dress up, and scare the crap out of some of them, want more could I want? :p

You should grab one of them and sacrifice them to Dagon, like me.
