That's sick....but what's the difference between this and a Monte Carlo SS from the same era?

<< twin turbo goodness!!! >>

I might be wrong, but I thought it was a single turbo, I only see one under the hood...

A kid I worked with purchased one of those when it was about 3 years old. The previous owner told him NOT to. He had traded it in to the dealer because it was so troublesome. The kid bought it anyway with an extended warranty. It spent more time in the garage than he got to drive it. In the end, it was determined that a 'pick up' on the crank was not functioning correctly. Once replaced, it was screaming down the road like a banshee for a few months before he sold it. I never did think it was that great looking, but to each his own.

BTW, I just found this TVR Cerbera for the first time this evening. Never heard of it before now, but it's pretty slick:
  • "The Cerbera 4.2 remains in production for those customers who prefer a V8 and the Cerbera 4.5 gives a range topping 420 bhp and 380 ft.lbs. of torque. Setting to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. 100 in 8.1 and 150 in 17.9. The Cerbera 4.5 is one of the fastest road cars in existence."

The owner should be shot for not driving it...price is at 35.1 and the reserve has not yet been met. That would be worth more than it was new the year it rolled out.

That is one bad as$ car though. A friend of mine in high school had one and I had a fuel injected 350 hp camaro..the car smoked mine.

Stock SINGLE turbo

Without going full drag, these cars are some of the fastest in existance.

Had one. It was the quickest production car in the world for a couple of years, even beating the Porsche 911 in the 1/4 mile. Traded it, like an idiot. Only problem was a decrease in turbo boost after about 50K miles.

Currently driving '94 Dodge Stealth R/T. Possible the best car I've ever owned.
