I never get tired of the Matrix's lobby scene

I remember seeing it in the theater. It still gives me chills watching that scene. Too cool......

Reference material for your HT. Man, they need to issue a Matrix Trilogy on BR.

I have the trilogy on HD, so I am set. Too bad the other two movies stank pretty bad......

The trilogy sucked, but the first one was great. That's all you need.

They didn't even need to have the other two movies. Money grubbing bastards FTW

No way, I love the other 2! I watch Matrix for the action, not the drama or acting. It's a fricking action sci-fi movie!

Is that the one they used in that video card test thingamagiggy?

Yup. And Max Pain stole the pew pew effect.

I also really enjoyed the "Highway" scene in Reloaded. Morpheus with an auto glock 18 and a samurai sword. Trinity looking badass with that Ducati. coolness.

But yah, Lobby scene > *

The first thing I did when I got this on HD DVD was put on the Lobby Scene. I did this before I even watched the movie.

It's funny you bring this up cause just today I was remembering how my bro and I were so excited when we downloaded the ~75mb mpg clip of the lobby scene waaaay back in the day and used it to show off our new computer speakers we just got. The quality of the video was sooo bad, lol, but it took forever to download on our dialup.

Too many cases where bullets magically miss them and other crap. That guy at the end stepping out with his gun down instead of up and ready to fire, for instance. It is much more exciting when the heroes actually have to work for victory and not get it handed to them by the script.

edit: spelling, geh

That scene blew me away the first time seeing it. Not many movies out there that have that kind of impact.

I need to watch that movie again.

Ya, think anybody could shoot BETWEEN the granite columns.

They were obviously aiming for the pillars.

And the heroes have magic homing never missing bullets, while the rest have bullets that always misses.

That is one of my favorite movies and one of my favorite scenes. My absolute favorite part is when Trinity kicks the guy's shotgun out of his hands behind him. God that is amazing.

that's gotta be one of the best scenes in movie history. it was so new, so unprecedented, so revolutionary. and utterly bad ass.

A scene I used to use to show off my HT is similar. It's the bathroom scene in True Lies. Casings hitting the floor, toiler stall doors "whooshing" open.
