I needa get a job

I have way to much free time like right now. I go to options its independent studies so I go to school twice a week for an hour mon and thurs 2:30-3:30. I need to get a job that is close. Down the street there is Wendy's, gas station, Ralphs, Hollywood, Starbucks, hair cut place, bank, chinese food place ( its bad ), ups store. I want to get a job I like if I don't like my job I wont be good at it. I get really lazzy unless i am having fun doing what I am doing.

There is a place I want to work the most but its further away its called PC Soltions. I took there test's passed those and turned in a application. I got a call back saying I was to young at the time I was 15 and turning 16. There is also a lan center called cnc ( click n connect ) but I have heard they dont hire anyone. I dont care how much money I make as long as I like the job I cant do sumthing I dont like.

PS: I know my writing is bad. I passed the high school exit exam 🙂 1st try lol

Did you type this fast as well?

your options:

Wendy's - will get you fat
gas station - everyone will hate you cuz the gas prices
Ralphs - don't know what this is but probably get you fat
Hollywood - (video, i assume) hot chicks come in sometimes
Starbucks - hot snooty chicks come in all the time
hair cut place - no way
bank - will get you some 'office experience'
chinese food place ( its bad ) - will make you fat
ups store - will get you into good shape.

if it were up to me, starbucks or hollywood - bad thing about hollywood is they're open til midnight 365 days a year.

Do you understand the concept of a "need to know basis"?

Sometimes you need to grit your teeth and bear it. If you need to work, you need to work. You're very young; you'll have plenty of time to find a job you enjoy. Right now, you need to do what you need to do. If that means working at Wendy's or a Gas station, so be it. Life isn't always fun and games.

You can act like you hate it, or you can get with the program. Who is going to want to hire you if you can't do something so basic? And even if you're hired, do you think that gives you an edge over someone else who is competing with you for a promotion?

I dont want to work at fast food. I would work at a gas station but the guy who works there and is the owner hates me. I kept coming in with those free coke things i would get them from school. I would have to send in a my dad or mom or even bro to get me the 2nd coke 🙂. plus it looks like he doesnt need any help. I am gonnna go fill out some applications at cnc and pc soltions.

I answered your last question "And even if you're hired, do you think that gives you an edge over someone else who is competing with you for a promotion?"

You did, but you also gave me a lot of information that you probably didn't mean to. You don't care about proper English, so you blow it off. If you worked for me, what parts of your job would you blow off? From what you've said, I'd expect you to do only the things you like. You aren't going to get hired to do only the things you like to do.

I wouldn't hire you on a bet. Harsh, but true. If you put this information on an application or show it in an interview, no one who cares about his own job or business will hire you.

You can be honest, or you can be hired. Your choice.
