I am going to get a lian-li pc-65b case with a window. I am going to put red CCs in it. I am also going to get EL floppy/ide cables. I am not sure what color to get. I am thinking either blue or red. I would like blue so it would stand out, break up the red from the lights, and help get rid of the single color theme. I'm just not sure how the blue EL cables would look with the red CCs though. If it is going to look like crap then I will get red instead. I am also going wrap the power cables in black expandable sleeves. I have a vantec fan controller(which has blue lights) but that isn't going to affect the inside lighting. I am also going to change the power/hd activity lights to red and blue.
 
Why don't you just stick with everything blue? (Blue cold cathodes, blue El cables, blue leds, blue led fans).
 
I tried blue IDE cables with red cathodes and it looked okay. I even added some white split loom to the scenario and had a patriotic theme. However, after several different "looks," I decided that one overall color inside the case looks best. Ironically, I started with an all red scheme. With my latest upgrade I finished converting to all blue.
