How many of you get the spam where, when opened, a remote image opens, but the message got through filters since the email itself has no (or nonsensical) body text?
Great. I need these remote images sent to me for a project. It's for a Digital Image Processing class, and the objective is to develop algorithms to detect the legitimacy of e-mail images (at a very basic level).
Obviously, I can't run analysis on porn, as fun as it would be. Ideally, I'm looking for spam that deals with pharmaceuticals, but I haven't received any of this type since I closed down my last e-mail address.
Please send me a PM if you have an image you can e-mail to me. Format doesn't matter since it will be altered to comply with our image handling libraries.
EDIT 3/30: We're starting to code algorithms for this project using a series of DFT-based image analysis routines, and we really need more spam messages to test, especially those with text or other sharp constrasts between colors.
