I love my iriver h320. Bought it when I saw too many ipods on campus.
The US version doesn't have native video support, but if you upgrade your firmware to the korean version [1.28 I believe], you have video support as long as you format the video to iriver's specs. The upgrade is not hard at all, the interface even has an option that will search for, and install, the .hex firmware when you put it in the root directory.
I bought it about nine months ago, for 275 shipped [from buy.com], so I'm not sure where it's at now. Its got 18.6 gigs of usable space, compared to the h340, which has around 38 gigs. It has some lossless file support, can view .txt documents on it, and view pictures. Those are all on the native firmware. The korean firmware adds video support.
www.misticriver.net for all iriver info.
I actually searched the net for 10 seconds to find a price and cannot seem to find any place that sells them right now...in the mp3 player market, I think it'll be a bit hard to find a player that supports video out of the box with that budget, at least it was nonexistant when I purchased mine three-quarters of a year ago.
