Hey guys.

I am about to make a 100% plexiglass case in the shape of a pyramid.

If all goes well it should be ill.

BUT: I dont know what I can use for a power switch. I dont know what kind of a switch I need, and how to hook it up to the mobo pins that make it actually work.

Any input would be great.
If I could get a reset and Power/HDD LED working, that would be great to but definately not necessary.

thanks a lot guys.

If its an ATX board you just need a switch that only connects the 2 wires for a second...not sure exactly what its called...but you just need to touch the 2 wires together for a moment for it to start up, and to shut it down you hold em togethter for 10 or so seconds. Hope this helps.

Isn't plexiglass known for being able to hold very large static charges? Doesn't seem like a good material to house a bunch of static sensitive components.

what about the metal back panel for the mobo this is needed as an earthed panel for stability reasons.
the metal cases will keep spurious RF from leaking ( this can and does affect other equiment )

Metal cage kinda of ruins the look? I dunno, all u hav to do is conenct all parts with some type of wire, and out to the power supply so it is grounded.

You might have to reinforce the corners a littler in a Pyramid. And how big is this thing going to be? LOL

I was thinking about my design and I think the metal would look nice.

I am planning on using the thinest "L" shaped metal I can find, and using it on every corner.
