I've had a Lian-Li PC60 for a few years, and one of the front fans is starting to give out. I've decided to replace both of the two front fans.

This being my first time replacing fans other than a cpu fan, i'm not exactly sure what to look for. Lian-Li uses ADA fans, I have no idea what the best fans are though (and i don't see ADA listed on newegg). The PC60 is able to adjust the speed of the fans, although it doesn't look like there's any special connection- is that a function of the case with variable voltage (or something?), or do i have to get special fans that can accomodate different speeds?

I'm also looking for something that's going to run quietly. I've got two harddrives, but other than keeping them cool, the rest of the case is doing pretty well heat-wise.

Any and all advice/recommendations would be appreciated.:) Thanks...

I just replaced my ADDA fans with 2x 80mm Panaflo 12L's (similar to L1A's) They are doing very well.
(I have the PC65)

Even though their CFM is 27 compared to the ADDA 32, it feels like the panaflo's airflow is more concentrated and centered. The ADDA's felt like the flow dispersed in all directions really quickly. Dunno if this is just me or not...

Bottom line, 2x panaflo 80mm (L1A or 12L) are what I recommend. At "Low" setting, they are very quiet. and inaudible from more than 2 meters away. I just keep mine at the High setting because I shut it down every night. Also, I replaced the rear ADDA fan as well with panaflo.

I'll second the vote for the Panaflo L1As. Best 80mm case fan out right now, IMO. Low noise, good airflow, long life. :)
