Haha, I am just throwing it out there for you bored fellas.....its a real open ended topic really so i dont need to follow any specific guidelines but if you wanted to help me out i wouldn't mind 😉

Remember 8 pages worth of history, compare and contrast of the two....It shouldn't be hard i just need a kickstart really 🙂

Linux SUXS Windows Rulez.................................
 
Easy, wikipedia windows 95 and the linux equivilent at the time and do a page on that, then 98 then xp comparing them to their linux counterparts.
 
I would focus on how Linus only contributed the kernel but the entire Open Source project is really Richard Stallman and the open source community.

Why bore everyone with history? Compare the functionality, the code, the kernels, the nature of the available applications (open source vs. not). Then talk about the future - will Linux ever become as widespread as Windows, and if not, why not?
 
not just history my man....its just a part. My general idea right now was about a page of history for each and then a comp/cont for 2 pages each and then 1 page each for what the future will bring. Really all i am lookin for is notes 🙂 Unless you REALLY have motivation to write me a paper......... 😉

Do you know where i could find some charts/graphical interface that compares basic features between the 2?
