I would tackle it from the points of view, not in this order, however, containing necessary information from the personal life style to the corporate and world views of the comparison.
You don't have to use any of these, or you can use all of these, but they are for your benefit. I'm not big on writing papers, but eventually all of us will have to face it at several-many points in our careers, on the job, outside of work, at school or play, but anyone who wants to be more successful needs to learn how to brainstorm and structure papers before they can come up with a stronger draft, thus a stronger paper. good luck with your paper. from one country to America, and the rest of the world; pop culture, American culture, life styles..
advertising/ads, breakfast, what we eat it with... how we eat it and its simplicity of a meal to how complex it can be, health/diet, athletes, target market-kids, teens, adults, taste comparison, expense to the average person, health risks and hazards, benefits, short and long term theories and effects, affected causes, appearance in the world, literature and music, entertainment (Simpsons, Honey I shrunk the kids), special interest groups like FDA to people (business too), respect, society and social boundaries, skills/talents, capabilities and oppurtunities, popular people, families, Q&A, superior food/inferiority to public, cooks, employment, protesters/supporters, obesity, global/community culture specific to nations and areas of the world, food specialists, community involvement, creativity
business:
first in line, time lines, emerging companies, closed down companies, stores available in, statistics, sales in regions, influence of a food to the industry, economy, ecosystem, possible dangers, safe/unsafe investments, stock, down the road/horizon, hollywood, market share, mergers (corp/inc/branch/splits/etc.), people, business leaders, corporate analysis, technology, job market, positions, competition between similar and disimilar companies, convenient store titles of grocery stores and respectable owners, internet sales, efficiency of business practices, professional and interpersonal relations
