I post a legitimate topic about my harddrive and I get slapped with that??? I don't get it. What I posted actually happened to my HD and seeing as how what once happened will happen again bearing in mind that problems that occured with that specific IBM HD in the past and in MASS numbers. It is in no way defrauding a company if you attempt to duplicate results that have already occured. They screwed up and should pay for it. If i go back and for whatever reason the previous state of a HD cannot be attained and a DFT of the drive says I only have bad sectors now which are easily fixable I should be concerned to say the least.
I'm not going to deny my ignorance of computers but to say I'm trying to defraud a company is slanderous at the very least. I come here for help and I'm chastised for my ignorance. What the hell is that crap???
