It's very easy to be an asshole. But are you an asshole irl? Probly not. So why be one online? Not that you are.

It seems alot easier to me to be more upfront and open over IM's and online than in person, probly cuz I have the chance to think about what I'm saying before I hit enter. And what the person looks like, their body language, etc. come into play as well. Face to face is really tough sometimes, but I like being nice all the time. So NO!! I refuse to be an asshole, no matter how mean people are.

But on the flipside, that's an easy way to find out which people are 'real' and which are fakes. If someone is very different in person than online, you immediately know that person can be very fake and is probably not trustworthy.

I have met 12 people in person that I first met online.
7 were accurate to their online persona.
