What is the easiest way send a file to somebody and free
I can pump 1MB upload so I would perfer Direct way to send
or upload some then have him D/L it
 
Go for FTP, i used BulletproofFTP for a server when i do this, and WS_FTP for a client when i dl via ftp. do you have 1MB or 1mbps upload?
 
are u @@*)#$)*(& SERIOUS? Msn is garbage for talking, why would it be any better for files!!!!

FTP, SFTP, SSH, VPN, Even ICQ pwns msn @ file xfer.
easy ftp server for windows Xp is the easiest decent ftp server for windows and for client I use smart ftp or fireftp (extension for firefox).

Don't run anything on standard ports that isn't encrypted, thats just asking for ppl to sniff it 1000 times an hour.

That's what I do. Of course my cable internet is only 384k up. However, discs are cheap and it costs about 80 cents to mail first class, get there in a couple of days. I usually fold a piece of cardboard over the disc, tape it up and label/stamp.
