I need to sell art (etchings in particular) how do i do it?

I have a ton of signed etchings from an artist that was rather well known in the 70's.

I looked on ebay and saw a lot of nothing. All the finished auctions had no bids and were not selling for what i would think is a good price for this art.

So, I wanted to know if anyone has a good idea for selling artwork.
No ebay... I really don't want to have to deal with craigs list either.

What do I do? I need some advice!!

To be honest, there are not a lot of galleries in the area, but i will start looking and see what they say! Thanks. 🙂
 
Don't restrict your search to one in your area. I'd look for galleries who specialize in the same type of art no matter where they are. Even if they don't want to work with you for some reason, you can always ask them to recommend places which would be a better fit.
