I need to recover a file name in Windows 7.

Is it possible to recover the file name of a file that was securely deleted? Or am I doomed?

I've used many different recovery softwares but found Active@ UNDELETE the most effective. The demo version will detect any recoverable file data that the full version detects, but will only allow to recover 64Kb total. The point is; if it's recoverable you'll see the data that's available. Recuva and Pandora File Recovery are freeware alternatives you might also look at.
