I am an 18yo about to enter college. I need to make a couple hundred bucks within the next month or so. I have a full time job but after work (4:30) I am free. I am good with computer hardware, software, simple electronics, and am not opposed to manual labor (read: handyman). I am wondering if there is anything I can do for just the next month before I go to school that will earn me a little extra money. Any ideas??

fast food.

Laugh it up, but depending on where you live, you can score about 7-8/hr, which isn't bad considering your availability.

You could probably get a job doing evening sorting at UPS, too. Just don't tell them that you are considering this as temporary.

I had a full time job the summer after high school before college. I walked into a few grocery stores and asked for an application. I called back a few days later to "follow up" (I think this is key to being offered this type of job), and I got two offers.

It wasn't hard.

You could whore yourself out to a thousand fat chicks for fifty bucks apiece, or, or fifty really fat chicks for a thousand bucks. What? Don't look at me like that, fat chicks need love too... but they gotta pay.

might i ask : if you have a full time job why you need another to save a couple hundred bucks? are you really using that much of it? or are you not getting paid? or need a couple hundred more on top of that?

other then that, just try to find some sorting position or night stocking and pretend it isn't a temporary position. But then
1) your dishonest (which may or may not matter to you)
2) you cant refrence it as expirience (which refers to 1)
3) someone already probally applied and has that position, but you never know.

Temporary help/day labor offices are where you go down, fill out an application listing experience/preferences and they place you one day at a time (or more) into temp positions. Some of my local temp offices pay $10-$12 an hour for no experience help on construction sites, warehouses, etc.

I am fairly opposed to lying on resumes and interviews. I need another couple hundred bucks to pay for repairs for hitting the boat with my moms car. All my full time money is going to college bills.

Try getting a job as a Princeton Review tutor. My PR tutor was only a sophomore at UCSB, so if you had a good SAT score and are over 18 they might hire you.

Yea, but I cant work during the day. This would have to be after hours only. And cant be too late because I have to be up at 6:30AM to get to my full time job.

They almost always can place you anytime around the clock. I highly suggest a finger walk through your local yellow pages:)
