I need to make a model of the solar system, planets, sun, any ideas on how to be creative with it? Other then useing sturofoam balls.

You could set it against a black backdrop with stars, galaxies, etc. Or you could include a planet after Pluto as an "undiscovered/unconfirmed" planet. You could also include the asteriod belt or satellites or Mir (pre-crash state) or a shuttle. Also, you can make the sun a lighbulb that can be turned on with the flip of a switch.

you could use faces of people in the media instead of planets. You could use each planet's relative size to convey the relative size of asshole the person is that you use in place of the planet. 😀

If you have to produce a stellar system, make it easy on yourself...no planets.

If you have to make a model of the solar system, put 11 planets in it. When your teacher says "Hey, this is supposed to have only NINE planets," you can just smile and say "Well, that is all that YOU know about."

Find pictures of Roman or Greek Gods and use the head to represent the planet. Or the Roman/greek symbol. Like Mercury would be sandals with wings.

Aren't all the planets named after Gods.

LOL.

QUESTION:

Are you including PLUTO??? It has been in the news recently about being re-classified by some as an asteroid.

So if you run short of time skip PLUTO. 😉
