My Asus A8V Deluxe motherboard tends to get hot around 94 degrees F when the BF2 demo. I think i have decent airflow in my Raidmax case (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811156114) I have 2 80mm fans in the back 2 80mm fans in the front and 2 80mm fans on the side. The room temp is around 73F i was wondering if i might need to get a better chipset cooler or something. and i have nothing overclocked. Thanks

how are your fans set up, i figure the two in front are blowing in, the two in rear are blowing out, what are the two side ones doing? if their sucking out, that might be something you want to switch around, cuz its probly sucking out all the cold air the front two are blowing in. i got a lanli pc1000 case, soon to be up and running as soon as i get my x800xl with the same mb as you but with a winchester 3500+

yeah you need to have more airflow in than out. get a fan on that side grill blowing directly onto the MB. also make sure the air being blown out of the case has somewhere to go: i cut a hole in the back of my desk to allow the air to escape and not be trapped.

The two side fans are blowing in and my computer is sitting on top of my desk so airflow out of the case is not an issue. thanks

well then is there something blocking the air from flowing out, is there a wall right behind it, something that would add backpressure, cuz that could slow the flow of air out.

34-35C is too hot for a mobo? Mine gets that hot under load and I've never had any problems.

Are you using Asus's PC Probe? There have been questions on its accuracy. It's currently reporting my motherboard temp at 34c and my Athlon 64 3400+ at 33c, but the air being blown from the blowhole and out the back is cool.

I wouldn't worry much unless your computer is locking or giving you errors. The hardware can take the heat, even in systems with very poor cooling. With six fans, I'm guessing you're OK.
