I need to live another year

A lot of you know I have an adult child who has Autism as his daily life challenge. Well, that child has been plugging away with help from Mass Rehab & is just one semester away from getting his degree at UMass.

This dude is so wonderful, no drink, no drugs, no smoking, doesn't even drink coffee. Monthly blood donor, participates in many charitable events, avid hockey fan & has done some sports writing for the school paper.

I have to stay alive till next May, I need to see this young man walk in that cap & gown! All of my kids are rock stars but this achievement is so huge, my heart bursts with pride!

Darlin' Geekbabe, I hope you live as long as you want...be it one more year, or 40 more years. I won't wish 40 years on you if what you're living with is too much to bear, (yes, I'm talking about Red) but I hope you have as many years left as you want to have.
