what videocard has the best 2D performance in a PCI format. I was thinking of getting a 3dfx 2000 pci or an ATI. Can you guys give me your opinion. Thanks
 
voodoo 3-2000 or the v3-3000 are great performing PCI cards. THere were very fast and very compatiable to most software.
 
4824guy is a man after me own heart! He's right. It's an excellent card and if you want twice the power consider the Voodoo5-5500 PCI. Even MaximumPC (that nVidia lovin' rag) says that for PCI cards the Voodoo5-5500 is the ONLY way to go.
