I need to know mobo specs on a HP Pavilion XE736 and HP's site isn't very clear. I am trying to update this PC for a friend and I think it may be better to just build a new one. The motherboard only supports 256mb of PC100 ram, that is my only info so far.
UPDATE: This PC doesn't seem like it is worth an upgrade of ram, processor and cd-burner. Would I be better off building a new one? I am starting to feel that way.

Dear god almighty yes. I also suggest you burn the desk it was sitting on, as it will be forever contaminated by the Lack of Performance And Expandability Goblins.
Thanks everyone, I guess I needed some encouragement before I decided this. I didn't feel like the troubleshooting/ordering/headaches/searching involved with this was worth it. I would rather order new items from newegg and have the thing together in 2 hours.
