I need to know how big a powersupply is good for this old system...

My friend has blown a CD-ROM and CDRW drives on this system
64mg ram, 3gig hard drive, 500mhz k2 and a CD-RW (the CD-ROM and RW weren't in at the same time, the CDRW replaced the CD-ROM after it went). He's going to open it up tommorow to see what his power supply is rated at, what do you think would be good?

250W ought to be plenty. Even 235W it it's ATX.

Yeah, I would play it safe with the 250watt PS. It probably won't need nearly that much, but better safe than sorry. Plus the price difference isn't that much.
