I need to know a couple of things about typical High School parties...

I'm talking the kind held unsupervised at a students house:
1. How common is rape?
2. How common is it for girls to go partially nude? (As in, topless and braless)
3. What overall usually happens at these events?
I'd prefer you not ask why I need to know this...I've never attended such a party myself (They never interested me), so I come to you for answers.

(editor's note, I graduated highschool over 10 years ago so some of this may no longer be accurate)

1. Um rape? Hopefully not often. At least i wasn't aware of any rapes at the hundreds of parties i've been too.

2. Depends on how much alcohol has been consumed, and what games people are playing. Typically not too often. Truth or Dare seem to always end up with naked girls.

3. Lots of fun!

I don't know. I never went to any.

based on all the parties i've been to (high school and college):
1. never happened.
2. never seen topless girls at a party, but have seen barely there outfits.
3. people get drunk and dance.
 
1. hmmm. it depends. if you consider giving females a large volume of alcohol as to inhibit their ability to make rational decisions, then i say yes it happens all the time. otherwise, no. usually the parties involve a large number of friends. it's not likely that you're going to rape a friend, with a bunch of your friends just on the other side of the door.
2. well girls usually never GO nude. they may start removing clothing as the night progresses, but usually nudity occurs behind closed doors. there will be, however, occasional flashing of the bewbies depending on the amount of alcohol involved.
3. lots of fun

Honestly, when it comes to party behavior, I've seen a LOT better control at high school parties than at college parties.
Never heard of rapes happening at HS parties, most likely because they are smaller and amongst people who usually know each other, the girls are more wary, usually due to inexperience rather than being informed, and these parties are often held at private houses with not that many rooms to get away.

Nudity? Never seen it at a HS party. Girls are a lot more shy. I've definitely seen people hook up and grope in dark corners and empty bedrooms.

Smoking (not cigarettes), drinking, dancing, vomiting, etc.

3) drinking, kids trying to act older and cooler than they are.

I don't know what high school is like for you, but when I was there it was nothing like that at all. Stop watching cliche' teen movies.
 
only 3 years outta HS so this is accurate

1) never happened in my town
2) couple times when peopel were wasted. or they lost at strip poker or whatever. but getting flashed wasent uncommon
3) lots of drinking and smoking of weed. some peopel do other drugs if they are into thatm mostly drinking tho. peopel hook up also

What makes you think that high school parties are a breeding ground for rape and sexual misconduct? If you're going to get lucky wrap it up and don't get too trashed. You have nothing to worry about.

Um, they're not like a big orgy. Sex does happen, but happens far more often with couples than with strangers. STD? If there were any STDs going around in my circle, none of us knew about it.
 
how would we know how often STDs get transmitted? what kinda party are you picturing?? sexual activity wasnt present at most of the parties i went to.
 
dont be worried about HS parties. they are lame. College parties is where the wild stuff happens.

As for the STD's, You could probably look up % of teen population carrying an STD, but as for STD's being transmitted at high-school parties specifically, who really knows..

First of all, I've never been and never will be a real party goer. I went to one, and from that experience they really bore me, as I'd much rather sit myself down for a good session of one game or another. And before someone asks, yes I did leave that party early, I spent roughly 10 minutes there and left, dissapointed at having wasted my time.
Second, I appologize for sounding paranoid and overly worried, but that's my nature and is just part of who I am. If it bugs you that much then maybe you shouldn't have taken the time to reply.
I have my reasons for needing this information right now, and they're just that: *my* reasons.
